Excavation work
Penetrating walls. For the installation of an additional turbine for the pumped storage power plant at the Wendefurth dam in the Harz Mountains, a breakthrough in the lock wall must be created. A task that is accomplished by an ER 600 with flying colours

Refurbishment
Demolition of a bunker. When dismantling an old high-rise bunker in Hamburg, two ER 1500 XL series milling machines are working their way from top to bottom, milling the up to 3.5 m thick concrete slabs and walls from the inside out completely without difficulty. In the process, parts of the outer walls are left standing to protect them from noise, dust and possible rockfall, and are only demolished at the end of the operation. Demolition work Volume: approx. 8,000 m³ reinforced concrete (reinforcement diameter up to 20 mm) Duration: 6 months Milling performance per hour and machine: 4-5 m³ Chisel consumption ER 22/75/70/30 Q: approx. 60 pieces per 100 m³

Pile head cutting
ADU 1500 on a Liebherr R 926. Before sheet piles can be installed, an ADU 1500 loosens ground consisting of sand, gravel, clay and small boulders with an auger and pilot bit designed for use in rock. Loosening the ground prior to installation, reduced vibration levels that could have damaged buildings located nearby. Wood grinding
ER 1500-1 XL on a Daewoo S 280. An ER 1500 XL being used to deepen a harbour in Batam, Indonesia in preparation for the larger oil tankers planned for the future. The drum cutter is working at depths of up to 13 metres under water. Erkat rotary drum cutters can be used up to 30 metres under water without the need for any modifications.
